Long time no Blog

This is my Nephew who is coming HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are all so excited....he has been in Afghanistan for a couple of years....and it will be wonderful to have him back with family and friends!!!

Been horrendously busy.....so no new cards to show :-(

Busy, Busy, Busy

Been a busy day, today. Here are four more cards I did for upcoming FUNshops. I used blue 1 and yellow 3 cardstock from the colored cardstocks and background papers from the Soar with it collections:Lilly Anna, Bella Flor and Kamalaht, plus the Simply Divine set R2702.

Butterfly madness

Oh gosh...it's been fun to play today while watching the Craft Fair on QVC and working on some other things.

Today, I made two cards, one using the Beautiful Butterflies and Fanciful Flowers sets from TAC and their new Lilla Anna background papers and cardstock and another using the same papers and adding the White bitty blossoms. Same papers and cardstocks from the collection but with a different look. I used glaze pens on the one butterfly and sharpie pens on the other.

I am really loving TAC's new papers, they make card making so simple....and takes the guess work out of matching colors.

Time to Play

I took some time to play amidst getting ready for WAG and, here are a few cards that I came up with. They were all made using TAC's Lilly Anna background paper and hardware.

I can't wait to get more of these coordinating papers/hardware etc to play some more.

I love how it takes all the guess work out of choosing colors to put together and everything goes together so beautifully. TAC also has the ribbon to match, altho I didn't use that here.

A new month

Wow...where is summer going? I haven't had a lot of stamping time as I have had my granddaughters visiting ever since returning from Seminar.

But, I was able to make these two cards among many others, while we were camping this past weekend.

I took plastic shoe box type container with some basic supplies ( paper trimmer, scissors, double sided tape, DCWV Glitter Stack, White cardstock, two TAC stamp sets, a black Noir Pad, colored pencils, a gray tombow marker and a dove blender). I wanted to challenge myself to make some cards and not have tons of choices....just minimal supplies...and it worked! OF course...while I was stamping and layering, I thought of things I could have used....AND, missed my Stickles!!!

I challenge you to try this. ONLY use two or three sets, some basic supplies and see what you can come up with. Of course, it HELPS if you are away from home so you aren't tempted to grab something else to play with ;-)
