2016 HOLIDAY Carry over items!!!

Hi Everyone,
Just a heads up, all items listed below are being carried over....they will NOT be retiring!!

Just remember, though, that the items listed in the Holiday catalog as a bundle will NOT be available as a bundle after the holiday catalog ends on January 3, 2017.

In order to get the 10% savings by buying a bundle, you will need to purchase the bundle or bundles before January 3rd!!

I am listing the items in the carry over list but NOT listing the bundles.  Should you wish to purchase them in the bundle, then you will need to refer to your Holiday Catalog or go online to my website to order them, there using the proper item code.

Last of the Christmas cards

One of the cards that I didn't post was this little 'flag' card.  I don't know what the proper name for it is, but it's a folded card with little squares that stick out.

It's easy to do, but so much fun and doesn't take a big sized stamp.  I used the Christmas Magic stamp set #142119 to creat this card.

Very little coloring and I just love the little trees and snowman.
Three of the other images in this set are a bell, a train and a North Pole sign.
So, of course, it made me think of the movie, Polar Express.

So, I had to create a card using a couple of those images.

The background stamp is Merry Medley.  I used that stamp set a LOT because it lends itself so nicely to a lot of stamp sets and just adds a 'little' something to your background.

Both of these sets are on the closeout sale page of my website and if you hurry, you can still get them before they are gone.

CLOSEOUT SALE

There are quite a few other Christmas sets in the sale, so if you are looking for stamps that you didn't get this year, for next year, now's the time.

This will be my last post showcasing Christmas cards.  It's time to look forward to a new year.  Sadly, I didn't get a chance to showcase all the stamps I bought from the Holiday catalog but you can rest assured I DID use most of them.

This week, I will be working on cards using stamp sets in the Occasions catalog!!!

It seems I have been super busy these past few months.  I am behind in so many of my stamping projects and priorities.   With my hubby home, now, full time....YEAH!!!!!!, it's a been a bit of an adjustment. I LOVE having him home, I just need to re prioritize how I use my time. It is so awesome having him home that all I want to do is spend time with him.  But, as a result, other things get put on hold or never got done.

My new word for next year is SIMPLIFY!!!!  It should say PRIORITIZE but I can include that in the word simplify!

More on that later!!

Have a great day....and take time to PawsNStamp!!!

Hugs,
Char

Christmas Eve!!!

Here is a card we did at class on December 1st.  It is called a Twist Card or at least that is what I call it.  A little different than the normal cards I make, although I LOVE to make different folded cards, this one has a little 'mechanism' out of card stock that enables it to fold into itself when you close it.

Just so you know, thought, one of my class members sent it to someone and it cost $2 to mail it!  So, it's not a card you would send to a long list of people but maybe for a special occasion.

It's Christmas Eve!!!  So, we'll be going to a service at church this evening, drive around and see all the decorated homes and then come home, eat and play games with our Granddaughter.

We love playing games and here is one game we bought, just recently, and are having a blast with it.  It's called Watch Ya Mouth!

You can find it at Amazon if you don't see it in the stores.  I'll attach a link to Amazon so you can see the game and watch the video.  Believe me, it's hilarious. I hope that family coming, tomorrow, find it just as funny as we do.

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Today, we celebrate our 48th anniversary!!!  Where on earth did the time go??

When I look back on it, this was a hectic time to get married as your anniversary always gets swallowed up in all the Christmas activities. And, it's so hard to take a little vacation as Christmas is just two days away.

BUT, then again, what a wonderful time as it seems everything is decorated and for the most part, it's a happy time!

We are just playing it low key again, this year, and just going out for Chinese dinner with our Granddaughter.

Maybe afterwards, we'll drive around and look at Christmas lights!!

See ya tomorrow!!!

Hugs,
Char

Sharing some Christmas FUN

I am truly sorry that I have been such a slacker at blogging!!!  I looked back over my posts and I realized (with a little nudge from a friend) that after my class on December 1st, I haven't posted.

I had had what I thought was a cold for over a week and thought that I was almost over it.  I did my class on December 1st, but by early evening, I just felt miserable...so off to urgent care we went and I found out I had bronchitis.

So, the meds and cough syrup he gave me helped a LOT and I was able to get some much needed sleep over the next couple of days.

On December 3rd, we drove up to WA(I slept a lot on the trip) and picked up our Granddaughter to come stay with us for the holidays.  We had heard we were in for some snow and didn't want to have to travel over the pass in snow.  As it was, going over, it started to snow...so on the way home we came back the long way, up the gorge and over The Dalles to Hwy 26 on the other side of the pass.

It's been a whirlwind of activity with her here.  We ended up getting snow a couple of days later and so we stayed inside and made crafts and I caught up a little on my Christmas card making.

We have been watching a ton of Christmas movies!!

We went to the Walk to Bethlehem, at our church in Redmond on Saturday 10th. She was fascinated with the animals and all the different scenes.

Then, we drove to downtown Redmond and took part in their "Charm Stroll". You donate some canned goods and/or personal hygiene items and they give you a 'passport' with the stores that are participating and as you go to each store and they give you a charm.

You have them stamp your passport with their letter...and when you are finished, it spells out a sentence.   Oh my gosh, we were over 3 hours doing this as you walk from one end of the downtown area all the way to the other side.  I got in over 7,000 steps just on the walk!  The snow was so bad and we tromped along the sidewalks mostly covered in snow except where some of the stores had shoveled it off!!

We topped off the day by going to a vendor market at Centennial Park and then we got an early dinner and headed for home.

FUN DAY!!!!
