Paper Pumpkin is turning 6!!!

I wanted to share is about Paper Pumpkin.  I have been getting these fun boxes from SU because it's just so easy to have a small project to do that's already thought out for me.

In March, Paper Pumpkin will be 6 years old and SU is giving us TWO stamp sets in one box.

But, hurry.....you have to sign up by March 10th.

Here is the flyer!!

If you have had Paper Pumpkin before but have put it on hold, be sure to get it coming again for March.   I am looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeve.

If you have never ordered Paper Pumpkin before, now is a great time to order it to try it out.  You'll be getting two stamp sets.  Everything you need to make the kits is in that box...with the exception of adhesive to put your cards together and we all have that.

Here is the link where you can sign up to receive this month's Paper Pumpkin.  But, hurry.....time is running out.

What have I been up to lately??

Actually, it's been a really busy two years.

I realized, the other day, that next month, April 28th to be exact, will be two years since we sold our home, bought an RV and have been here and there ever since.

It's been an adventure....some good, some not so good but we have made a LOT of memories.

As for my stamping, and my SU business, I have had to make a LOT of adjustments.  It hasn't been as easy as I had thought it would be to keep up with my SU business, my customers, let alone my stamping.  (although I knew it would be a lot harder than living in a home in a permanent spot, I didn't dream it would be this hard).

For one thing, we aren't always in the same location.  Now, that doesn't affect my customers, as their orders are sent directly to them....but it does affect me, on how I receive my personal orders as we could be at a different location but only there a few days so couldn't order like I wanted to in order to keep up with the new catalogs.

And, it also affected me offering my Card of the Month, that my customers were used to receiving when they placed an order,  as to be perfectly honest I only had  a minimum of supplies with me while we were travelling around in the truck, before we got our RV.

The first 5 months, we didn't even have our RV yet so everything was still packed in our storage shed.

We thought we'd have our RV in June and be back in Oregon the next month, before heading to TX, but that didn't happen.  We didn't receive our RV till September 8th. I was without my stamping supplies for over 4 months and even after we got some of them into our RV, it was.

So, truth be known, I struggled to keep afloat so that I could at least hit my 5 year mark with Stampin' UP!   I made that goal in October of 2018.

But, I lost most of my customers, which is understandable.  They wanted ideas and I just couldn't keep up with my Card of the Month, being constantly on the road.

So, to all of my customers that are reading this....I am truly sorry that I let you down.  That was not my intention when we started this journey.   I just had no idea that we wouldn't have our RV in June and how extremely difficult it would be to keep up the pace once we did.

Now that we are sitting still for at least another 6 months, it's easier to stamp.  NOT EASY...but easier.

The stamp room that I created in our RV is very, very small and a lot of my things are over in a storage shed.  For the first year, we were a long way away from the storage shed so I couldn't just go get things to work on.

I have organized and re-organized my little stamp room so now it's at least easier to get to the supplies that I keep here in the RV.  I am starting to stamp again!!!  That, in itself, makes me happy!!

Long story short, I don't know what the future holds.  I will keep stamping.  At least, now, we have a storage shed closer to where we live and work and I can keep some supplies over there.  Still, it's not ideal and I do really MISS having a 'real' stamp room but it just goes to prove that IF you want to do something bad enough, you can.

I guess what I am trying to say is....sometimes "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!!"  :-)

I will continue to share ideas when I can get things made....and post to my blog.

Here is one thing I made not too long ago, to share with my Co Workers and friends.

These were so much fun to do!  I made the little calendar holders but ordered the calendars from Vippies.com.

Since then, I ordered some more from Taylored Expressions and got the ones for 2019...as they were only .75 cents for a pack of 10.    And, they were just black and white....not colored like the ones in the photo.

Sorry this post was so long.........................I'll try and do better!!

Have a great day!!!
