It's a brand new year!!! As my Granddaughter informed me, last night, we are half way between the year 2000 and 2030. Hmmm, I hadn't thought of it that way ;-)
We rang in the new year watching the ball drop in NYC and then hopped in bed and were fast ASLEEP . ....till someone in the neighborhood decided to set off fireworks at midnight. ;-(
Oh well....it only happens twice a year so we can be a little 'forgiving' of their excitement. :-)
