Of course, Annie wasn't allowed to have sauerkraut...but she had a helping of pork chops and mashed potatoes.
Then, after dinner, we lit the 7 candles, sang happy birthday and watched as she gobbled it down.
First a taste of icing
Then, it was SIT.....till I got a photo of her and her piece of cake. Otherwise, it would have been a huge blur...LOL
I think Annie thinks her 'family' is completely nuts....but she plays along with us and we love her for it.
Here's to many, many more years, Annie!!
How cute! When I first saw the picture of Annie looking at the plate I thought maybe she wasn't liking what she was seeing. You actually were able to make her obey and sit still. Our dogs were rarely that well disciplined. :) Great that you have so much fun doing all this!
ReplyDeleteWhen Annie was young, I would put a snack or something on my leg and then taught her to WAIT....till I gave her the go ahead. I even do it with her food when "I" feed her. My hubby doesn't....but I don't want her just gobbling something up.
ReplyDeleteOf course, after I give her the OK command....she goes ahead and gobbles it up anyway ;-)
If you could have seen her 'psycho' eyes....you would have known that she was only 'waiting' because "mom" told her to :-)
