Stampin’ Up!’s 2014-2015 Annual Catalog

WHOOOOOOHOOOOO, it's in my hands!!!  Well, it was before I started typing!
AND, before I even sit down and thoroughly devour it, I am going to share it with you!

Four of us demonstrators attended a catalog premiere in Happy Valley, OR, yesterday.  We drove up for a day of shopping, lunch and to attend the catalog premiere at 4pm.  It was 2 1/2 hours long.  The premiere was FULL of ideas and we were able to see some of the new products demonstrated.

We are not allowed to show anything IN the catalog, just yet, but here is the new catalog!!!

One of the exciting new things that I can share are that we will now carry Blendabilities.  They are alcohol markers in sets of 3.  The first 6 sets of Stampin' UP! Blendabilities will be available to demonstrators on May 1st and to customers on June 1st.

And, of course, another fun addition to our catalog is the partnering with Becky Higgins and Project Life.

Friday: Last day of FREE SHIPPING and other exciting news!!

Monday, April 28th, I will be going to a Catalog Premiere....where I will get to hold the new catalog in our hands.  The event is being put on by SU in every state across the US and also in Canada.  We'll ALL be viewing the presentation at the same time just in different time zones..... How exciting!!

Then, just a few days later, as a demonstrator, I will be able to put in my order for new product as part of the exclusive preorder period that demonstrators enjoy.

On May 1st I am preordering the new catalogs. If you have placed an order with me in the past year, please let me know to reserve a copy.  You will be sent a complimentary copy.

Making Lattice to add to your card

The list of retired products comes out on the 21st so you will be able to buy all the items you have been wanting to get before the catalog retires....AND get free shipping (Expedited Orders excluded).

Another Easter Bunny

Here is another Easter Bunny I made just this past week. I am usually good about
giving credit when I find a cute idea.  But, for the life of me, I can't remember, now, where I saw this.  It was basically a photo with some punches....and I had to figure out the punch sizes from the photo.

I love using the Top Note Die....I have made so many fun cards using this die. (the Leprechaun was one of them, last month) If you don't have the die....you NEED it....  :-)

I'll try to find time to do a tutorial later.

Like I said, in an earlier post, I have company.....so am spending time playing with her this week.

But, isn't this bunny cute???  I made 30 of him sitting in front of the TV one night, watching Amazing Race, Survivor or one of those shows ;-) Actually, I had already punched out all the parts so I just set up a card table and just sponged the different parts, and put them together. That is 60 cheeks, 60 eyes, 60 blue irises, 60 eyelids, 60 teeth, 60 ears, 60 inner ears, 60 floppy ears, 30 noses and 30 top note dies folded in half.  But, it was fun!!

I want to do a class on just using the Top Note Die one of these days!!!  If you live in the area and would be interested, let me know.  I'll contact you when I get it scheduled.

Easter is a comin

Oh gosh, I just realized that I haven't shared ONE Easter card, yet. So, I had better get to hopping along!!

I have a few cute ideas for you to do for Easter.  I wish I had time for a class but we have company coming on Wednesday and I threw my back out on Saturday (now why would I do that? Don't you NEED your back?) doing....who knows what.  So, I am gimping along trying to do last minute things before company arrives.  And, then, because she is also a stamper, I know we will be stamping fools for a week!!!  I'll have lots to share after that.

ANYWAY........here is one fun project that my Granddaughter and I did together a couple of weeks ago.

These were just too much fun!!!  She helped me punch and add the layers and of course fill the cups....every once in awhile popping a jelly bean in her mouth.

The item number for the cup is 9994W and the lid is 999L4W.

We used the Large Oval punch for her ears and feet and used it again for the inner ear, but cut it down to size.  We used the Owl Punch for the little pink pads on her feet.  The small heart was used for her nose. What we didn't show was the cute little tail on the back of the cup using the 7/8" scallop circle punch.


Add some Easter grass and some jelly beans or coffee beans and you have a cute little treat to give to your neighbors, family,  friends, hair dresser....well, they ARE addicting to make!!  Not to mention,  your Grandkids will love them.

Dancing with the Stars!!

Dancing with the Stars

Have you been watching this season's Dancing with the Stars??  Well, we also watch The Voice, so I have had to tape it and watch it later but Wowza....they have some talented dancers this time.  I am really enjoying the skating team, Meryl Davis and Charlie White, that won the Gold medal.  And, it is awesome to see Amy Purdy, who lost her legs at 19, perform.

Tonight, they are going to shake things up a bit and switch around partners.  Should be interesting and fun to watch.
