Lemonade anyone?

I was messing around, the other day, trying to make a card using the "An Udder Birthday" set from The Angel Company. I have used this set so many times, it's hard to think of new ideas.

Then, I was at WalMart the other night and they had their own brand of 'Kool Aid" packets for just .10¢ each. I grabbed a bunch of them and decided I would come up with something using those.

I used Green, red and yellow card stock from the Neutrals Card Stock Stack and white card stock. I stamped an image from "An Udder Birthday" on the white and colored it in using Prisma Color H2O pencils.

I punched out a circle, using the Mega scalloped circle punch, from the red and cut it in half and attached it to the bottom of the flap. Taking a dime, I cut a half circle flap with my Retractable Knife.

Afterwards, I decided I could have used Velcro and might just have to try that next time.

Have a Fantas-TAC-al weekend!!!

  1. Very cute card! Thanks for sharing your idea about using a dime to cut your tab. I'll have to remember that.

  2. For the tab I would have used my coluzzle. I've done it before with my mini books pockets.

  6. I never ordered this set because I had "What's Moo?" and thought how many cows do I need?! But I've seen so many cute samples made with it - guess what, it's on my first order!!! Thanks for all the inspiration you give!

  9. What a great idea. I use the Basic Grey notch and die tool to cut notches. I also have a notch punch I got from a SU demo.
