Snow Ice Cream

Sorry the photo is sideways....still working on that problem.

Well, I was asked to post 'my' recipe (which I got off the internet) for Snow Ice Cream, so here it is:

Snow Ice Cream:

1 cup of milk, any kind (we used 2%)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
8 cups of clean snow
Optional:  Sprinkles

Directions:
In a large bowl, whisk milk, sugar, vanilla and salt together until combined.  Immediately stir in snow until you reach your desired consistency. (we went out before we started and scooped up snow and kept it in the freezer till we were ready to add it) Top with sprinkles or other ice cream toppings.  Dive in right away!!!

The more cream content that the milk has, I think the richer the ice cream.  I was happy with this lighter version.

Hugs,
Char
