I am very blessed to be the recipient of RAKS from time to time. Here are two of the latest RAKS that I have received both using TAC stamps and card stockThe first one is from my lil buddy, Rita H. She is going through chemotherapy right now as I type. My mind has been with her all morning.
Anyway, she sent this card a few weeks ago to show me what she had made with the "Scor Pal". I love that tool. The layer she added is punched with another tool. I forgot what she told me she used....eeeek.
She used the "butterbeesandmore" and "Trendy Greetings" stamp sets and Cobalt blue and Robin's Egg Blue card stock. It's just so cute!
This second one is from one of my down line and 'daughter', Channie D. It was a May Day card. What a surprise and to think some people still remember May Day!! I have to say that she remembers me every holiday. She was a 'daughter' to me before she signed up as a demonstrator. Long story how she and I became "Mom" and "Daughter" but it's cool to have a daughter like her!!She used white, brown and Green 3 card stock, plus a strip of Wine Red 2 card stock. The stamp sets she used were "Treasure it" and "Just Because". She ran the brown card stock through the Big Shot using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I just love those embossing folders!
I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life! A lot of my friends have come from the 'internet' believe it or not....and often times we have met in person and sometimes not....but we still have a great friendship. I am blessed with friends that I have had for over 30+ years and others that have become friends in the past year or so. There is always room for more!
