Snow, Snow and more Snow

I have taken countless photos ever since the snow began back in December.

We've had a couple of breaks where the roads full of snow, melted, but there has been snow on the ground ever since the first part of December.  Then this last storm hit and although it has ceased, now after a few days, we have about 3 1/2-4 feet or more of snow left behind.

Yes, I am getting really tired of it!! LOL  It's one thing to be stuck in the house and not go anywhere because you just don't want to and another to be stuck in the house because you CAN'T get out and go anywhere.

But, thankfully, I have new stamps to play with so I have been creating!!  :-)

Another reason I have been lax in posting is that when I post, I want to upload photos but when I try to upload photos, lately, they are always sideways.  I take them with my phone as it's just faster and easier and, when they are saved to my computer they look fine but as soon as I upload them, they are sideways.  So, I am working on why that happens.  It doesn't seem to matter how I take it, landscape, straight on and what I do in the editing....it takes forever to get a photo to end up the right way.

This month, at class, we made three cards and one was a Valentine's Day card.  I shared a new technique, or new to me anyway, of using packing tape and glitter. We used the Sassy Heart Framelits and the new Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack #142733 and the Sealed with Love set #142815.  The sentiment "Happy Valentine's Day" is just one of 27 stamps in the set and it also has Framelit dies you can purchase as a bundle.

I also had some of the new Occasions and Sale A Bration items on display.

Fun day...

Now it's back to playing with my new stamps!!!

Have a great day and if you are inundated with SNOW, like we are.....take time to stamp and play!!

Hugs,
Char

  1. The amount of snow is really unbelievable!
They promised us a snow storm for today, but the snow that came down last night didn't even make until the afternoon - well, I am not too unhappy about it!! :)
I hope you don't feel too trapped at home!
Have a nice time crafting, Char, just make the best of it.
You could post your recipe for snow ice cream, by the way... :)
    Hugs! Tina
